nasen offers a range of training opportunities and resources specifically for leaders and practitioners, working in the Early Years (EY).

The Golden Key Programme

nasen’s Golden Key programme is an online training programme of eight, live, interactive webinars for practitioners currently in the role of the Key Person in PVI and maintained school settings.

Conducting a SEND Review in your setting can help to improve SEND provision and strategy, so that all children and young people are appropriately supported to achieve good outcomes in both mainstream and special settings. This course is built around a deeper exploration of the implications of the An introduction to SEND in practice and Understanding and supporting universal needs. It has been developed to link with your day to day working practice – it encourages you to develop a resource or professional artefact (for example, a novel intervention; an assessment tool; a lesson plan template or a learning resource) which can be used in your setting.
