Free courses on accessibility tools for remote learning

The DfE have commissioned two courses to help staff to support students with accessing remote learning and made them free to access. Click on the links to take you to the registration form.

ACCESSING THE CURRICULUM FOR ALL

Tuesday 23rd February @ 4pm
Explore the use of Google for Education and third party digital tools to enhance teaching and support students with special educational needs. Discover how these tools not only support children with specific needs, but are ideal for enabling all learners to manage how they access learning, especially when away from the classroom. The session will have a BSL interpreter.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR TEACHERS OF LEARNERS WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENT

Wednesday 3rd March @ 4pm
This session focusses on tools that can support learners with hearing impairments. With input from teachers supporting hearing impaired children you will learn about the captioning options available across Google for Education tools, as well as other device options and tools that can allow children to curate their learning environment to fit their needs. This session will have a BSL interpreter.
