SEN and ICT
ICT offers a versatile toolbox to all teaching staff, and to special educational needs coordinators (SENCOs) in particular. These materials have been designed to help all SENCOs, both the experienced and those new to the role, in using ICT to support teaching, learning, management and professional development. The materials were produced by Becta in consultation with the professional bodies that guide and work with SEN, and will assist SENCOs in meeting the Code of Practice, current SENCO training requirements and teaching standards.
The materials are not necessarily linear but a suggested order for use would be Introduction, Remind me, Inspire me then Review checklist.
