Webcasts

This year, nasen are excited to be launching a NEW series of online training options for all nasen members.

One of the ways in which we will do this is through a series of short webcasts, delivered in-house by our very own Education Team

What is a webcast?

Webcasts are short, on-demand training videos which can be accessed at any time. nasen will produce regular webcasts to help busy education professionals to understand all aspects of best practice with SEND.

Ideas for using the nasen webcasts

The nasen webcasts are often only between 3-5 minutes in duration and offer another type of learning experience. This can be particularly useful for blending CPD and offering a range of different inputs for staff, an example of which is to use a webcast within a wider CPD session or staff meeting, perhaps to reinforce a particular aspect of provision or SEND-specific practice.

Short webcasts could also form part of SENCO network meetings where peers consider topics such as school self-evaluation of SEND, assessment tools and data analysis across their group of schools.

Tell us how you have used the nasen webcasts

We'd love to hear how you have made best use of our nasen webcasts.

Tell us via e-mail or why not publish your experience on the SEND Gateway as a school example

Webcast details

Webcasts will be available to all Silver and Gold nasen members.

We’re currently finalising the topics of some of our first webinars, but because it’s important to us for our training to be as relevant to you as possible, we would love for you to tell us what you think our future webcasts should focus on.

You can let us know by completing our survey.
