Report on Effective SEND practice in ITT published
UCL Institute of Education, as part of Whole School SEND funded by the DfE, has published research to provide an in-depth understanding of effective SEND practice in Initial Teacher Training.
The report includes 20 case studies from HEIs and school based providers and makes recommendations for ITT programme aims, content and structure with respect to special educational needs content.
