Members of NASEN can claim complimentary places (Normally £325+VAT) to The Special Education Needs event taking place in Birmingham on 16th of May.

The event will be covering the updates in the fields of SEN, speakers include: NASEN and The National Autistic Society, with more experts to be confirmed soon. Read more about the event.

Research shows that almost 90% of newly qualified teachers are not fully prepared to support children with complex learning needs. In response to this, the Government has pledged an overhaul of teacher training as the number of SEN pupils in mainstream classrooms looks set to increase. Meanwhile, special schools are facing the unprecedented challenge of catering for pupils with increasingly complex and varied needs despite ever decreasing resources.
