nasen (the National Association for Special Educational Needs) is delighted to announce their new partnership agreement with Nisai Group. The 12-month sponsorship deal sees Nisai Group become a lead sponsor of nasen, alongside GL Assessment and Axcis Education Recruitment.

During the past 15 years, Nisai has continued to highlight and support the academic needs of students with Special Educational Needs, their families and the broader community. Thousands of students have studied with Nisai, and for many, it is the only source of education they have been able to access.

In Nisai’s most recent OFSTED inspection in December 2017, the report highlighted that Nisai has “successfully achieved their vision to provide online learning to students who otherwise would be unable to participate in education”. They also mentioned that Nisai develops highly individualised programmes to meet the needs of their students who struggle to access or engage in mainstream schools.

On a National level, Nisai has proven a key player, championing the creation of the Children's and Families Act in 2014 and working with Local Authorities to ensure their students remain in education.

As a lead sponsor, Nisai will be attending and exhibit at nasen Live, which is returning for a second year at the Birmingham ICC on Friday 6th July. Here, Nisai can meet and inform SENCOs and other practitioners about the services Nisai has available.

Speaking about the partnership, Dr Adam Boddison, Chief Executive of nasen said: “Over the last 25 years, nasen have been committed to providing the most effective and relevant support for all those working with children and young people with SEND.

We are extremely delighted to have Nisai Group on board as a main sponsor of nasen and know that with their support over the next 12 months, we can really further enhance our support, advice and guidance for education professionals working within the SEND sector.”

CEO of The Nisai Group, Dhruv Patel said: “Partnering with nasen is a wonderful opportunity for us and reflects our commitment to providing an offering for the SEND community in the UK. Bringing the issue of inclusive education is a crucial theme that we will be discussing throughout the year, and we hope that through our partnership with nasen we can bring this issue to the forefront of the Education sector.

The partnership launched at the BETT Show in London on Friday 26th January, where Chief Executive Dr Adam Boddison and CEO of The Nisai Group Dhruv Patel were both in attendance.
