Thank you to everyone who attended nasen Live 2011 as yet again the event was an overwhelming success with fantastic feedback from delegates, speakers and exhibitors. Building on 2010 over 1000 people attended nasen Live over two days; all looking to access the best in SEN training, products and resources. Nasen Live 2012 will again aim to meet the professional development needs of all those working within the special and additional educational field.
Nasen is obviously keen to ensure that delegates who attend the event will be updated on issues such as:
- The new Ofsted framework
- The current focus on over identification of special needs
- The revised Teachers’ Standards to be introduced in September 2012
- The new National Curriculum
- The Bew Report. Testing arrangements are due to have significant changes and there is a renewed focus on transition between Years 6 and 7
With the majority of special needs children being educated in mainstream school nasen Live is a key event for all professionals working with children.
