EYSEND Partnership: Meeting the needs of every child: SEND for managers in PVIs
Please place your PROVISIONAL BOOKING for this FREE one-day course designed for managers in PVI Early Years settings from anywhere across the following regions: East Midlands, West Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside, North West and North East. The reason for a provisional booking is due to requiring 9 managers from each Local Authority within a region; hence, if you apply to book and we already have 9 managers from your local authority, we may not be able to accommodate your booking. However, we do promise to try our best to redirect bookings to other areas where possible.
We are fortunate to have the funding to subsidise up to £40 travel for each manager attending this training, meaning that travelling a little further afield can be made easier.
The course offers information and resources for supporting all children with SEND in PVI settings, including the role of the SENCO and effective inclusive practice, and then focuses specifically on speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). It will enable managers to offer training in SEND to their staff teams. The course is jointly delivered by nasen and ICAN, the children’s communication charity, through the EYSEND Partnership.
