Nasen welcomed the government’s Draft SEN Provisions and the call for evidence from the Education Select Committee. Nasen has consulted with its members and our response reflects the feedback received from a large number of SEND practitioners.
Particular points we would like to stress are:
There are a great many questions still to be answered in terms of the processes that will support many of the policy objectives. Only time will tell if the policy changes do improve the provision for those children with SEND.
