The site designer have constructed the nasen website using the basic design principles of the Web Accessibility Initiative(WAI).

These include:

• Allowing text on the page to scale
• Optimising the site for an 800x600 view
• Using meaningful ALT text
• Avoiding items that move, blink, scroll or flicker
• Avoiding pop-ups
• Using an easy to read font type
• Ensuring clear and consistent navigation mechanisms
