    Head of Operations

    David joined nasen in September 2002 and is one of the team’s longest serving members. As Finance Manager he is responsible for shaping and leading nasen's financial strategy ensuring that the organisation’s financial and administrative systems are efficient and allow nasen to meet its aims.

    Outside of work, David is a keen lover of sport and can be found on most Saturdays watching his two young sons playing football or cheering on his hometown team Scunthorpe United.

  • Cherise Russell

    Website and Graphic Administrator

    Cherise has a background in website design and administration for a variety of organisations.  Having joined Nasen in April 2014 as their Website and Graphic Administrator, Cherise contributes to on-going development, maintenance and administration support for the main Nasen website and SEND Gateway. 

    Cherise is also further developing her design skills in order to create in house designs and nasen publications.

  • Denise Upton

    Accounts Administrator

    Denise has worked in accounts since leaving school and joined nasen in October 2012.

    Her main responsibilities are assisting the Finance manager in the day to day processing of financial documents of the charity.

  • Sam Ward

    Membership Co-ordinator

    Sam joined Nasen in August 2011 after a lengthy period of post-study travel. Originally employed as an Office Administrator, he has been developed within the organisation and now operates as our Membership Co-ordinator.

    As a graduate of law he has used his legal background and membership expertise to help strengthen the offer and service provided by nasen. He is a familiar voice to members, providing a welcoming platform to enable them to communicate both their expectations and opinions.
